AICA was accredited by the China State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs in 1999 as the designated Australian 'training base',a prestigious recognition of our professionalism.

AICA offices in Canberra and Beijing are familiar with requirements in Australia and China. Our branch offices in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane provide specialised support for visitor outside the national capital.

We are committed to ensuring value for contacts in China and Australia. Visitors to Australia are accordingly supported by 'daily life' interpreters (familiar with Australian customs, geography and business) and 'professional' interpreters (experts in fields such as the sciences or public administration). Our professional interpreters are certified by the Australian Government and many have BA or MA degrees. We aim to minimise the frustration that can occur when people in Australia are dealing with people from another country with different systems and a different language.

AICA's expertise includes logistics. We arrange travel and accommodation appropriate to the needs of individual delegates and groups, including four star hotels and apartments, Chinese food and western cuisine, air flights and road transportation within city or on field trips to sites in regional Australia.
